Translation Elongation

Translation elongation is the process in protein synthesis where the ribosome reads the mRNA sequence and adds amino acids to the growing polypeptide chain. This process involves the codon-anticodon recognition, binding of tRNA molecules carrying specific amino acids, formation of peptide bonds between amino acids, and movement of the ribosome along the mRNA.
