Toric Lenses
Toric lenses are specially designed contact lenses that correct astigmatism, a common refractive error where the cornea is irregularly shaped, causing blurred or distorted vision. These lenses have different powers in different meridians of the lens to compensate for the asymmetrical shape of the cornea. Toric lenses are available in both soft and rigid gas permeable materials, and are custom-fitted to each individual's unique prescription and eye shape.
