Torah Portion

A Torah Portion refers to a specific section of the Torah, the central religious text of Judaism. Each week, a different portion is read aloud in synagogue as part of the Jewish religious practice known as the weekly Torah reading. These portions are divided into 54 sections to be read over the course of a year, with each portion typically focusing on a particular theme or narrative from the Torah. Torah Portions are an important aspect of Jewish religious observance and study, providing a structured way for the community to engage with and reflect on the teachings of the Torah.
