Timbals
Timbals are a type of percussion instrument consisting of a pair of small, shallow drums with a single head and no snares. They are played by striking the drum heads with drumsticks or mallets to produce a bright, metallic sound. Timbals are commonly used in Latin American music, particularly in genres such as salsa, merengue, and cumbia. They are also used in orchestral music and other styles of world music.
