Thorites are individuals who follow the teachings and beliefs of Thor, the Norse god of thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind, and also hallowing and fertility. Followers of Thor often value bravery, loyalty, and honor, and may participate in rituals and ceremonies dedicated to honoring and invoking the power of Thor. Worship of Thor dates back to ancient Germanic and Norse cultures, and continues to be practiced by modern Heathens and Asatruar.
