Therapy Animals
Therapy Animals are domesticated animals, typically dogs, cats, or horses, that are trained to provide comfort, affection, and support to individuals in therapeutic settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and rehabilitation centers. These animals work with trained handlers to help improve the physical, emotional, and social well-being of those they interact with. Therapy animals are not the same as service animals, as they do not have specific tasks or training to assist individuals with disabilities. Their primary role is to provide companionship and emotional support to those in need.
