Theological Virtues
Theological virtues are three virtues that are infused in a person by God. They are considered to be foundational for Christian moral life and are believed to enable a person to live in relationship with God. The theological virtues are faith, hope, and charity (or love). Faith is the belief in God and acceptance of His teachings. Hope is the trust in God's promises and the expectation of eternal life. Charity, or love, is the selfless love for God and for others. These virtues are seen as essential for leading a virtuous and fulfilling Christian life.
