The Gospels
The Gospels refer to the first four books of the New Testament in the Christian Bible, which are believed to have been written by the disciples of Jesus Christ. These books, namely Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, provide accounts of the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and are considered the foundation of Christian faith and doctrine.
