The Fates

The Fates, also known as the Moirai in Greek mythology, are a group of three goddesses who control the destiny of every individual from birth to death. Clotho spins the thread of life, Lachesis measures the length of the thread, and Atropos cuts the thread to determine when a person's life will end. These deities are often depicted as weaving or cutting the threads of fate, symbolizing the inevitability and finality of destiny.
