Tennis Courts
Tennis courts are outdoor or indoor playing surfaces specifically designed for the sport of tennis. They are typically rectangular in shape, with dimensions of 78 feet in length and 27 feet in width for singles matches, and 78 feet in length and 36 feet in width for doubles matches. The court is divided into two equal halves by a net, with a baseline at the back and service lines for serving the ball. The surface of a tennis court can vary, with options including grass, clay, hard court, and carpet. Players use rackets to hit a felt-covered ball back and forth over the net, with the objective of scoring points by landing the ball within the boundaries of the opposing player's side of the court.
