Teleprinters

Teleprinters are electromechanical devices used for sending and receiving typed messages over various communication channels. They typically consist of a keyboard for inputting text, a printer for producing hard copies of messages, and a paper tape reader and/or punch for storing and transmitting data. Teleprinters were commonly used in the early to mid-20th century for telegraph and teletype communication, before being largely replaced by more advanced digital technologies.
