Tailed Frogs
Tailed Frogs are a type of amphibian characterized by having a distinctive tail-like extension on their bodies. They belong to the family Ascaphidae and are primarily found in North America, particularly in the Pacific Northwest region. Tailed Frogs are known for their unique reproductive behavior, in which the male uses its tail to fertilize the eggs externally. These frogs are typically found in cool, fast-flowing streams and are excellent swimmers. They have smooth, moist skin and are primarily nocturnal, feeding on small insects and invertebrates. Tailed Frogs play an important role in their ecosystems as both predators and prey.
