Swarm Robotics
Swarm Robotics involves the study of large groups of relatively simple robots working together to achieve a common goal. These robots communicate and coordinate with each other using local interactions, rather than relying on a central control system. The field draws inspiration from the collective behaviors of social insects, such as ants and bees, and aims to develop algorithms and techniques for enabling robotic swarms to exhibit similar levels of efficiency, robustness, and adaptability in various tasks and environments.
