SwallowTailed Kites
Swallow-tailed kites are large, strikingly beautiful birds of prey with long, deeply forked tails. They have black and white plumage, with a white head and breast, and black wings and back. Swallow-tailed kites are known for their graceful aerial acrobatics and elegant hunting techniques, as they soar effortlessly through the sky in search of insects and small vertebrates. These birds are primarily found in the southeastern United States, as well as in Central and South America. Swallow-tailed kites are highly migratory, traveling long distances between their breeding and wintering grounds. They are considered a symbol of freedom and are a popular sight for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts.
