Sumo Wrestling
Sumo Wrestling is a traditional Japanese form of wrestling in which two competitors, or rikishi, attempt to force each other out of a circular ring, or dohyo, or to touch the ground with any body part other than the soles of the feet. It is known for its ritualistic elements, including the wearing of mawashi, a type of loincloth, and the performance of pre-match ceremonies. Sumo wrestlers are highly trained athletes who compete in tournaments throughout the year, striving to achieve victory and ascend the ranks of the sumo world.
