Sumo Athletes
Sumo athletes are individuals who compete professionally in the traditional Japanese sport of sumo wrestling. These athletes train rigorously to build strength, agility, and technique in order to push, pull, or throw their opponents out of a circular ring or force them to touch the ground with any body part other than the soles of their feet. Sumo wrestlers are known for their large size and distinctive attire, which includes a mawashi (loincloth) and topknot hairstyle. In addition to their physical prowess, sumo athletes are also expected to uphold a strict code of conduct and adhere to the traditions and rituals of the sport.
