Stratovolcanoes
Stratovolcanoes are tall, conical volcanoes characterized by steep sides formed from alternating layers of solidified lava flows, volcanic ash, and other volcanic debris. These volcanoes are known for their explosive eruptions and are typically found at subduction zones where tectonic plates collide. Stratovolcanoes can reach heights of several kilometers and are among the most dangerous and destructive types of volcanoes due to their explosive nature.
