Stonehenge

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshire, England. It consists of a ring of standing stones, each around 13 feet high, seven feet wide, and weighing around 25 tons. The stones are set within earthworks in the middle of the most dense complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England, including several hundred tumuli (burial mounds). Stonehenge is believed to have been constructed between 3000 BC and 2000 BC, with various theories suggesting it was used for religious ceremonies, astronomical observations, or as a burial site. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
