Steering Systems
Steering systems refer to the components and mechanisms in a vehicle that allow the driver to control the direction of the vehicle. This includes the steering wheel, steering column, steering shaft, steering gear, tie rods, and steering linkage. The steering system works by transmitting the driver's input from the steering wheel to the wheels of the vehicle, allowing for precise control of the vehicle's direction of travel. There are different types of steering systems, including rack and pinion, recirculating ball, and power steering systems, each with their own unique set of components and functions.
