Spouse
A spouse is a person with whom someone is married and has a legally recognized relationship. This can include a husband or wife in a heterosexual marriage, or a partner in a same-sex marriage. Spouses typically share a household, finances, and responsibilities, and provide emotional support and companionship to each other.
