Spirituality in Islam
Spirituality in Islam refers to the beliefs, practices, and experiences that Muslims engage in to deepen their connection with Allah (God) and cultivate a sense of inner peace, purpose, and fulfillment. This includes engaging in acts of worship such as prayer, fasting, charity, and pilgrimage, as well as striving to live a moral and ethical life in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and the Hadith (sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad). Spirituality in Islam also involves seeking knowledge, self-reflection, and purification of the heart in order to attain a state of spiritual excellence and closeness to Allah.
