Special Needs Students
Special Needs Students are individuals who require additional support and accommodations in order to access and participate in education. These students may have physical, cognitive, emotional, or developmental challenges that impact their ability to learn and function in a traditional classroom setting. Special Needs Students may receive individualized education plans (IEPs) or 504 plans to address their unique needs and ensure they have equal opportunities for academic success. Supports and services for Special Needs Students may include specialized instruction, assistive technology, therapy services, and modifications to the curriculum.
