Silk Screen Printmaking

Silk screen printmaking is a technique in which a design is transferred onto a mesh screen using a light-sensitive emulsion. The areas that are not part of the design are blocked off, creating a stencil. Ink is then pushed through the screen onto a surface, such as paper or fabric, to create a print. This process allows for precise and intricate designs to be reproduced with consistency. Silk screen printmaking is commonly used in creating posters, t-shirts, and fine art prints.
