Sikhism Religion

Sikhism Religion is a monotheistic faith founded in the late 15th century in the Indian subcontinent by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It emphasizes the belief in one God and the teachings of the ten Sikh Gurus, as recorded in the holy scripture Guru Granth Sahib. Sikhism promotes equality, justice, selfless service, and community participation. Sikh practices include daily prayer, meditation, and following the principles of honesty, compassion, and humility. The religion is characterized by the Five Ks: Kesh (uncut hair), Kangha (wooden comb), Kara (steel bracelet), Kachera (cotton undergarment), and Kirpan (ceremonial dagger), which symbolize a Sikh's commitment to their faith and values.
