Shortwaves
Shortwaves are high-frequency electromagnetic waves typically ranging from 3 to 30 megahertz in wavelength. They are used for long-distance communication and are able to travel great distances by bouncing off the Earth's ionosphere. Shortwaves are commonly used for broadcasting, amateur radio, maritime communication, and military communication.
