Shinto Symbols
Shinto symbols are objects, animals, or natural elements that hold significant meaning and spiritual power within the Shinto religion. These symbols are often used in rituals, ceremonies, and shrines to honor the kami (spirits or gods) and seek their blessing or protection. Some common Shinto symbols include torii gates, shimenawa ropes, sakaki branches, and the mirror, sword, and jewel, which represent the three virtues of wisdom, courage, and benevolence. Each symbol has its own unique symbolism and is revered for its connection to the divine in Shinto beliefs.
