Shearwaters

Shearwaters are a group of seabirds in the family Procellariidae, known for their long, narrow wings and streamlined bodies that allow them to glide effortlessly over the ocean surface. These birds are skilled in diving and swimming, using their webbed feet to propel themselves through the water in search of fish and other prey. Shearwaters are highly migratory, traveling thousands of miles between their breeding and feeding grounds each year. They are known for their haunting calls and graceful aerial displays as they soar over the open seas.
