Semimetals
Semimetals are a group of elements that have properties of both metals and nonmetals. They typically have a shiny appearance and are good conductors of electricity, similar to metals. However, they also have brittle and semiconducting properties, similar to nonmetals. Semimetals are located in the periodic table along the staircase dividing metals and nonmetals. Examples of semimetals include antimony, arsenic, and silicon.
