Semicolonialisms

Semicolonialisms refer to situations in which a country or territory is under the political and economic control or influence of a more powerful nation, known as a colonial power. This form of colonialism is characterized by a lesser degree of direct control compared to traditional colonialism, allowing the semi-colonized nation some level of autonomy while still being subject to the dominance of the colonial power. Semicolonialism often involves unequal economic relationships, military interventions, and cultural impositions by the colonial power, leading to complex power dynamics and dependencies between the two entities.
