Secured Transactions
Secured Transactions involve a legal arrangement in which a borrower pledges collateral such as real estate, equipment, or inventory to secure a loan. In the event that the borrower defaults on the loan, the lender has the right to take possession of the collateral to recoup their losses. This area of law governs the rights and obligations of both the borrower and lender in such transactions, including the creation, perfection, and enforcement of security interests.
