Secondary Art
Secondary Art refers to the study and creation of visual arts including painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media by students in grades 7-12. This level of art education typically builds upon the foundations established in primary school and focuses on developing more advanced technical skills, creativity, and critical thinking in relation to art history and theory. Students in secondary art programs may explore various mediums, styles, and techniques to express their ideas and emotions while learning about the cultural and historical significance of art. Additionally, they may have opportunities to exhibit their work, participate in competitions, and pursue further studies in art beyond high school.
