Romance Linguistics
Romance Linguistics is the study of the Romance languages, a branch of the Indo-European language family that includes languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Romanian. It focuses on the historical development, phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics of these languages, as well as their interactions with one another and with other language families. Romance Linguistics also examines language variation and change within the Romance language group, as well as the cultural, social, and political factors that influence language use and development.
