Reptile Snakes

Reptile snakes are elongated, legless reptiles that belong to the suborder Serpentes. They are carnivorous and use their jaws to swallow prey whole. They are covered in scales, have no eyelids, and use their forked tongues to sense their surroundings. Snakes can range in size from a few inches to over 30 feet long. They are found on every continent except Antarctica and play important roles in various ecosystems as both predators and prey.
