Religion Christianity
Christianity is a monotheistic religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ as presented in the New Testament of the Bible. Adherents of Christianity believe in the Holy Trinity—God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Central beliefs include the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the redemption of sins, the authority of the Bible as the inspired word of God, and the importance of faith, grace, and salvation. Christianity has various denominations, including Catholicism, Protestantism, and Eastern Orthodoxy, each with their own traditions, practices, and interpretations of scripture. Worship typically involves prayer, sacraments (such as baptism and communion), and gathering for communal worship and fellowship.
