Recants
Recants refer to instances where individuals retract or take back a statement, belief, or confession that they had previously made. This can occur for a variety of reasons, such as realizing the information was inaccurate, feeling pressured to make the initial statement, or experiencing a change in perspective. Recants can happen in legal cases, public declarations, personal relationships, or other situations where an individual's words hold significance.
