Raw Dairy
Raw dairy refers to unpasteurized milk, cheese, yogurt, and other dairy products that have not undergone the process of pasteurization, which involves heating the product to kill harmful bacteria. Raw dairy products are believed by some to contain more nutrients and beneficial bacteria than their pasteurized counterparts. However, consuming raw dairy products also carries a risk of foodborne illnesses due to the potential presence of harmful bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria.
