Rapture Theology
Rapture Theology is a belief system among some Christian denominations that adheres to the belief that believers will be taken up to heaven to be with God before a period of tribulation and judgment on Earth. This belief is often tied to interpretations of biblical texts, particularly in the books of Revelation and Thessalonians. Proponents of Rapture Theology often anticipate a sudden and imminent event where faithful followers will be transported to meet Jesus Christ in the air.
