Radiator Cap

A radiator cap is a pressure cap that is used to seal and pressurize the radiator of a vehicle's cooling system. It is typically located on top of the radiator or on a separate coolant reservoir. The radiator cap helps maintain the correct pressure level in the cooling system, which increases the boiling point of the coolant and prevents overheating. It also allows for the release of excess pressure to prevent damage to the radiator and other components. Additionally, the radiator cap may have a built-in valve that allows coolant to flow into the radiator from the overflow reservoir when needed.
