Punch Press Operator
A Punch Press Operator is a skilled worker who operates a machine tool called a punch press to stamp out metal parts or components. The operator is responsible for setting up the punch press, selecting the appropriate dies, adjusting the speed and pressure of the machine, and feeding the metal sheets or blanks into the machine for processing. They must ensure that the parts are produced according to specifications, inspect the finished products for quality and accuracy, and make any necessary adjustments to the machine settings.
