Pumices

Pumices are highly porous, lightweight volcanic rocks that are formed from the rapid cooling and solidification of lava containing high amounts of gas. They are typically light in color, with a frothy texture and numerous cavities or bubbles throughout. Pumices are commonly used in abrasive cleaning products, horticulture, and as a lightweight aggregate in construction materials.
