Psammites
Psammites are a type of metamorphic rock that is predominantly composed of quartz and feldspar minerals. They typically have a medium to coarse-grained texture and may contain other minerals such as mica or hornblende. Psammites form from the metamorphism of sandstone or siltstone rocks under high temperature and pressure conditions. These rocks are commonly found in regions with a history of tectonic activity and are often used in construction and as decorative stones.
