Project Financing
Project financing is a method of funding large-scale infrastructure projects, such as highways, power plants, and telecommunications systems, where the repayment of the initial investment is directly tied to the cash flow generated by the project itself. This type of financing typically involves a consortium of lenders who provide the necessary capital in exchange for a stake in the project and a share of the profits. Project financing is often used for projects that have high upfront costs and long-term revenue potential, as it allows developers to mitigate risk and leverage the project's future cash flows to secure funding.
