Postmodern Drama
Postmodern Drama is a genre of theatrical works characterized by a departure from traditional narrative forms and structures. It often incorporates metafictional elements, non-linear storytelling, fragmentation, intertextuality, and self-reflexivity. Postmodern Drama challenges the conventions of realism and explores themes of uncertainty, ambiguity, identity, and the nature of reality. It may also incorporate pastiche, parody, irony, and satire as means of critiquing and deconstructing established norms and beliefs.
