Postminimalism
Postminimalism refers to an artistic movement that emerged in the late 1960s as a reaction against the rigid formalism of Minimalism. Artists working within this style sought to expand the boundaries of Minimalism by introducing elements of emotion, narrative, and personal expression into their work. Postminimalist art often features a more organic, handcrafted aesthetic, with an emphasis on the artist's touch and the process of creation.
