PostImpressionist Painters
Post-Impressionist painters were artists who followed the Impressionist movement in the late 19th century but sought to move beyond its focus on light and color. They emphasized geometric forms, distortion, and exaggerated colors to express emotion and create a more subjective interpretation of reality. Some well-known Post-Impressionist painters include Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, Georges Seurat, and Paul Gauguin.
