Polycrystal

A polycrystal is a material composed of multiple small crystalline structures that are randomly oriented and interconnected. These individual crystals, known as grains, come together to form a larger solid material with unique properties resulting from the grain boundaries and interfaces between them. Polycrystals are commonly found in metals, ceramics, and other materials that undergo solidification or recrystallization processes during their formation.
