Political Economy
Political Economy is the study of how political institutions, processes, and ideologies shape economic outcomes and vice versa. It examines the relationship between the government and the economy, including the ways in which policies, regulations, and decisions impact the distribution of resources, wealth, and power within a society. Political Economy analyzes the interactions between the state and markets, as well as the role of various actors such as businesses, labor unions, and interest groups in influencing economic policies. It also explores how historical, cultural, and social factors influence economic systems and development.
