Physical Therapy Assistants
Physical Therapy Assistants work under the supervision of physical therapists to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses, improve movement and manage pain. They assist in implementing treatment plans, instruct patients on exercises and activities, and document patient progress. Physical Therapy Assistants may work in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, schools, or other healthcare settings. They must have strong communication skills, compassion, and physical stamina to assist patients with their therapy.
