Pacific Island Folklore
Pacific Island Folklore refers to the traditional beliefs, myths, legends, and stories passed down orally through generations on the islands in the Pacific Ocean. These stories often feature gods, spirits, heroes, and mythical creatures, and serve as a way to explain the origins of the natural world, customs, and cultural practices of the indigenous peoples of the Pacific Islands. Folklore from this region typically includes themes of nature, spirituality, creation, and the relationship between humans and the divine.
