The Original Six Teams refers to the group of six professional ice hockey teams that composed the National Hockey League (NHL) for 25 seasons from 1942 to 1967. These teams are the Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
